The distinctive glass is the visual cue that you are in Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris.
The Yellow Fields Around Paris
I saw numerous of these yellow fields from the air, from almost the minute that we hit landfall at the French Atlantic coast. I like to think of them as huge fields of Dijon mustard.The Heart Of Paris
If you look carefully in the lower middle of the picture, you can see the heart of Paris and the Eiffel Tower from the air.
Getting To Provence
The first leg of the journey to Provence starts with a flight to Charles de Gaulle Airport on the outskirts of Paris.
