Cafe Life in Lourmarin

Note the half liter of rose wine on the table along with a carafe of water and a bowl of nibbles.  You have the sunlight and everything that you need to enjoy the open air cafe in Lourmarin.  This is the essence of Provence.

The trunk of a large plantane tree is visible in the foreground shading the pubs in the background.  This is a street scene in Aix-en-Provence and ironically the green cafe in the background is called "The Irish Pub".

The Cafe de la Fontaine is a nice little cafe in Mausanne les Alpilles near St. Remy-de-Provence.  The cafe is across the street, however the marquee tents are in the village square near the church.  It is a wonderful day to spend a sunny afternoon -- sipping drinks and watching the world go by.
